Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations/ Installation Manager, ideally with Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) experience to join a leading renewables client on their growth plan and within their Installation team for domestic and commercial installs. Within this position you work with a close team covering Surrey and the surrounding areas. Installs will be private domestic and small commercial such as schools, churches etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ASHP systems, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. Develop and implement workflows, best practices, and safety protocols to boost operational efficiency.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ASHP engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment. Conduct regular performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and support career development.
Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical expert for all ASHP-related queries, offering guidance on troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring compliance with technical standards. Support engineering teams with problem-solving during installations, commissioning, and servicing of ASHP systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with senior management, project managers, and clients to ensure alignment of project requirements, expectations, and timelines. Prepare and present technical and operational reports, sharing insights and recommendations with key stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, technologies, and services, implementing changes to optimize efficiency and performance. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the ASHP sector.
Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive knowledge of ASHP systems, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
