Energy & Asset Management Engineer – Overview

Low Carbon Recruitment Ltd are working with one of the UK’s largest Energy Management companies in the UK with over 30 years experience maintaining domestic & commercial premises within London & surrounding areas. The company currently manage over 10,000 properties throughout the London & Home Counties as well as several key Energy Centres, Heat Networks and Commercial Plant Room Assets. Due to recently winning several new contracts, they are looking to grow their Engineering team and can also offer clear routes to Senior Engineer, Supervisor and Manager level in order to progress your career.

Day to day you will cover your local patch, travelling to sites to service and maintain systems within Energy Centres such as CHP, Boilers, Heat Pumps, Biomass, Pumps and other systems that you would find in a Commercial Plant Room environment. You will also work on HIU’s, communal/district heating systems and they can offer full training on renewable energy systems if you haven’t worked on them before. The company can offer further training and progression, assisting you in gaining experience on commercial heating systems, heat networks, Energy Centres and more however it is expected you would have a working understanding on these systems.

Energy & Asset Management Engineer – Requirements
 
  • 2-3 years experience on Plant Rooms, District Heating or Energy Centres.
  • Experience in Commercial Plant Rooms
  • Relevant industry qualifications - City & Guilds/ NVQ level 3 in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Gas engineering
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Energy & Asset Management Engineer – Salary & Remuneration
 
  • Basic Salary up to £49,000  
  • Travel Pay
  • £5 per day lunch allowance (£1,300 per year)
  • Call Out Bonus - £135 per week + Overtime rates if called out
