We are working with an established M&E Contractor who are seeking a Electrical Estimator to join the team working on project tenders for Design & Build, Fit out and refurbishment projects valued from £100K-£5million. The company have been operating for over 30 years, they have a headcount of over 40 people and have been extremely profitable over the past 5-10 years.
The company are a Building Services Contractor and are seeking someone who can build Electrical packages made up of a range of systems including LV Mains Distribution & power, Cable Management Systems, Lighting/Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Systems, Lightning Protection, Network/ Data/ Fibre, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, Access Controls, Electrical Testing & certification and Solar PV/Battery Storage systems. You will be mostly office based with travel to site 1-2 times per month for site surveys when required. Typical project tenders and from £100K - £5million and you will be a key figure in tying together the tender process before passing the project over to the Project Delivery team. They don’t have any specific software they use for the Mechanical Estimating side.
There are clear routes for progression available to you as well. Of the current Directors, several have moved up from similar positions within the company and they have a dedicated policy to promoting from within where they can. With this role requiring travel to the office and sites, the company will provide you with a company car or car allowance. There is also a generous bi-annual bonus policy which will hold significant financial reward for your position.
Electrical Estimator – Requirements
- 5+ year experience in Estimating for Electrical projects
- Experience building tender packages comprised of a range of systems
Electrical Estimator – Salary & Remuneration
- Salary £50,000 - £60,000
