We are currently working with an industry leading Building Services & Renewable Energy company who are seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join the team in their West Midlands office. As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the pre-commissioning & commissioning of electrical systems & plant. This will include wiring and controls of Heat Pumps, Biomass, Packaged Plant Rooms and other as well as the witnessing and interrogation of Building Management Systems (BMS) in various projects throughout the UK. This role involves on site commissioning and testing of commercial electrical systems to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to achieve successful integration and optimal performance of electrical systems.
This role will be mostly working on Decarbonisation projects in commercial sites such as schools, hospitals and other sites. There will be travel to sites further afield such as London, Leeds etc and there may be the occasional night away however these will be planned well in advance and you will have travel & expenses for any nights away. There is no call out required with the role, all work will be within working hours Monday-Friday.

Electrical Commissioning Engineer – Requirements
Level 3 NVQ Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certification
Proven experience in commissioning electrical systems in diverse projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Familiarity with electrical design software. (Advantageous)
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. (Advantageous)
BMS Manufacturer Training with one the following -Trend / Tridium / Satchwell / Schnieder (Advantageous)
