We are currently working with a specialist ECO & Retrofit installer who are seeking a Business Development Manager to join the team. The scope of the role is to develop the companies supply chain for the delivery of their programmes, making in roads with new Managing Agents, Local Authorities and Social Housing Providers as well as identifying opportunities with the SHDF scheme.
The company are a successful business which have been operating for over 15 years. In the South East area, they have installed 1-in-4 measures that have been in stalled under the ECO schemes. They currently work with a number of managing agents and local authorities however they are seeking to grow their market presence in order to expand the company and increase the number of measures they install. This role will suit an individual with previous account or delivery management experience within the energy or construction sectors. The ideal candidate is expected to identify and lead on business development opportunities, and work as part of a team on wider opportunities across the whole company.
Working closely with a range of business units, the Business Development Manager role will assist in defining the direction for business development and building plans to incorporate the associated business objectives.
This role can be split between home, on the road and office. It is expected that you would be available to attend the office in Portsmouth area 1-2 times per week however you will be able to manage your own diary.
ECO Business Development Manager – Requirements
Knowledge of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), Home Upgrade Grant scheme (HUG) and other Government-funded retrofit and energy efficiency programmes
Understanding of the retrofit industry and the processes involved in the installation of insulation, heating and renewables into domestic properties
Experience in working with Local Authorities, in public procurement rules and in working with lead generators and installers
Proven experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
Excellent account management and sales experience
ECO Business Development Manager – Salary & Remuneration
Salary up to £42,000 + Bonuses
Company Car or Car allowance
Bonus structure, up to 15% of salary
