We are currently working with an established HVAC & Building Services contractor in the Midlands who are seeking an Business Manager to run their electrical division. This is a busy and multi-faceted role where you will focus on sales, contracts and projects management of works and helping to grow the division to take it to the next level. They currently turnover circa £12million as a business with a head count of 71 across all departments. The Electrical division is the youngest in the group but one they are looking for the right person to grow and develop.
They company specialise within installation, maintenance and remedial works in commercial properties with a small amount of domestic. Day to day you will have full control of the Electrical division, managing existing Electrician’s and Apprentices as well as having a direct hand in recruiting and growing the personnel within your area. One of your primary focuses will be developing new sales to grow the installation and maintenance business through new and existing contacts as well as networking, business development and sales. You will have a direct input to contract negotiations, arranging sales meetings for Senior Management as well as putting together plans and estimates for new works including budgets and timescales.
You will manage and oversee Engineers for maintenance and installation works, project manage installation projects and be the direct point of contact for customers. This role will have a mobile element too it and will require travel to sites within the companies working area (East & West Midlands) therefore a full UK licence is required.
Electrical Manager – Requirements
- Previous experience of Project & Contracts Management within the Electrical industry.
- Proven experience of B2B business development and sales
- Previous experience in a similar Sales/ Business Development role within the sector
- Previous experience within an Electrical sector company
- Knowledge of Electrical contracts
- C&G/NVQ in a HVAC or Building Services related discipline
- Full Drivers Licence
Electrical Manager – Salary & Remuneration
- Salary of £55,000 per annum (Negotiable Depending on experience)
