Air Conditioning Service Engineer – Overview

We are currently working with an established Air Conditioning contractor who have been operating for over 40 years designing, installing, maintaining, and servicing air conditioning and chiller equipment throughout the South West, North West and Midlands of the UK. They employ over 45 mobile engineers and are looking for an additional engineer to come onboard in the South West area covering service and maintenance works.

As an Air Conditioning Service Engineer, you will be travelling to sites around the South West area installing VRVs, VRFs, Chillers, Splits and Multi Split systems at commercial sites such as offices and RAF bases. The company mainly install Daikin, Mitsubishi and Samsung units, so experience of these would be an advantage, though not essential as they can give full training on these systems. The position will be solely service and maintenance as there is a separate department that looks after installations.

They operate a call out rota, but this is only 1 in 8. The company also offers a quarterly bonus scheme based on company performance and access to the company lodge for 1 week a year at no cost! Due to this being a mobile role, a full UK licence is required.

Air Conditioning Service Engineer – Requirements 
 
  • Experience servicing and maintaining Air Conditioning Systems including VRV’s, VRF’s, Splits and Chillers
  • F Gas 2079 Cat 1
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Refrigeration experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience installing Mitsubishi, Daikin and Samsung units (desirable but not essential)

Air Conditioning Service Engineer – Salary & Remuneration 
 
  • Salary £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
  • Travel pays with 30 minutes each way unpaid
